Cyrus is a self-taught hip-hop choreographer and freestylist. In 2017 he took his first steps towards a dance career at Impact Dance Complex in West Plains, MO as the youth/teen Hip Hop instructor. He contributed to multiple recitals, camps, and local productions with Impact Dance Complex.

As an instructor, Cyrus also worked on the production team at Fidelity Local 6, studying commercial/live production for film. In addition, Cyrus gained experience working on several local and regional productions with Fidelity Local 6, such as live sports, community events, and local news.

In June 2019, he signed his first contract with Consuming Kinetics Dance Company(CKDC) as an apprentice artist and educator. In his first season with the company, Cyrus instructed youth classes and performed in multiple cultural/community events throughout St. Louis. Cyrus also began his exploration of various styles and genres in dance, such as Modern, Contemporary, West African, Flying Low, Breaking, Tutting, Krump, Animation, and Commercial Hip Hop. Additionally, Cyrus joined CKDC on stage for professional concerts such as The Blue Zone, Human Disturbance, and [Revolution]. Not forgetting his passion for the camera, Cyrus also began his career as a freelance photographer/videographer. Privately contracting for creative content, weddings, and camera operation in St. Louis and the surrounding area. Utilizing the knowledge and experience from his career in commercial/live production, Cyrus took the initiative to create multiple video productions and promotional clips for CKDC.

Cyrus signed on as a company artist and educator in his second season with CKDC. Furthering his passion for film and movement, he began instructing Dance Film Making(DFM). Not only to enhance the professional development of CKDC's youth program but to encourage self-promotion/production and provide more tools to prepare students for a career in the ever-changing dance world. Unfortunately, later in his second season, the COVID-19 pandemic canceled many artistic opportunities. However, Cyrus remained active with CKDC producing video content for Patreon, youth classes, and multiple fundraiser campaigns.

In May 2021, during his third season with CKDC, Cyrus was promoted to Company Manager. As a leadership team member, Cyrus also maintained his commitments as an instructing/performing artist. While continuing to teach multiple youth/adult classes, he attended regular rehearsals, performed in various venues around St. Louis, and performed in the 2021 Fall professional Dance Concert [Revolution]. Additionally, as a fine arts administrator, he contributed to community and cultural dance events and professional/pre-professional dance concerts, youth programming, client relations, and studio/social media management.

In March of 2022, Cyrus stepped down as company manager. Although not currently signed to CKDC, Cyrus continues to perform, educate and advocate the work of his first dance family. Cyrus continues to pursue artistic opportunities for himself and colleagues of similar interests.

Currently, Cyrus is open to private contracts, performance/instruction of dance, and artistic content creation.
